The sickening media spin | MalaysiaKini

Disgusting.

It's the only word I can use to describe the media spin over the UMNO and PAS talks which had rattled DAP. True to form, this has been used as collateral for the latest attacks by Main Stream Media (MSM) against PAKATAN RAKYAT. The news is spun as if the situation in PAKATAN RAKYAT is so dire, they are at the point of collapse.

Such bias reporting would not go unnoticed by those in alternative media. The people have wised up to the stunts of the MSM and have made it known yet the MSM have not learnt their lesson. The MSM are partly to blame for the failure of BN in the last election. It was their over glorifying of BN that sicken the people and again such pompous reporting now would anger the people even more. The MSM must learn that demonizing the popular choice is never going to augur well for them.

Any loose alliance is bound to have their problems and I am sure DAP are rattled by this latest turn of events yet I believe it is not enough to shake the alliance loose because PAS has the most to lose if they jump under the covers with UMNO. The people would be the first to scream foul if PAS decides to defect. It was the people who gave the PAKATAN RAKYAT its resounding victory. A victory that denied the BN it's 2/3 majority. It was a vote for change and change is what the people demand.

PAS should not be so stupid to fall for the ploy UMNO is setting up. UMNO may pull the "unity of the Malays" stunt on PAS but it is merely a trump card to get eliminate a rival. For that is what PAS really is in the eyes of UMNO, a mere competitor which needs to be removed from the picture. PAS should know that UMNO do not play fair.
